Working Principle:
Pulp of a given concentration and volume is poured into a container fitted with a filter screen at the bottom. Water from the pulp permeates through the screen. Pulp with different beating degrees shows different water‑permeation rates. The higher the beating degree, the poorer the drainage property of the pulp. The beating degree of pulp is measured indirectly by recording the water permeation rate.
