Water Resistance Tester

   PN-WRT Water Resistance Tester is a new type testing apparatus to test water resistance of glue for all types corrugated fibreboard, which is designed to be in accordance with GB/T 22873 and ISO 3038.The “water immersion method” is adopted for the determination of the adhesive water resistance. The basic principle is: immerse a standard sample of corrugated cardboard with a size of 20mm × 150mm in water, hang the standard weight on the cardboard, and make the direction of force perpendicular to the adhesive line, and measure the time required for the glue line to resist heavy traction. The longer the time, the better the water resistance is. This method emphasizes the performance of the paperboard under water immersion and subjected to a certain tensile force. It tests whether the adhesive layer of the paperboard still has tensile or compressive strength after water immersion, and at the same time, to test the water resistance by the time under which the adhesive layer is pulled out.
   This tester is an electromechanical integration product. It adopts modern mechanical design concepts and ergonomic design principles, and uses advanced high-speed ARM processors. The tester can measure 30 samples at the same time, and it comes with a control system to record the instantaneous time of each weight drop. No need operator to stand by, reducing labor costs and improving test efficiency and accuracy.
